The worldwide HITRECORD community writes and records a song collaboratively with Logic. I oversaw the music production for HITRECORD. And in post, I created the music edit you hear (and see) here as Logic surveys all the community’s contributions, slowly building up his track.
Still Here SCORE
A melancholy rumination on abandonment and loss, and the confidence one can discover despite it. I wrote the music, and the hitRECord community of musicians executed it, interpreting it for themselves further along the way.
Samsung ‘In A City’ PRODUCER, MIX
Here’s a short we did in partnership with Samsung. It’s theme is cities and our relationships with them. I led the production, played some parts, and assembled and mixed all the individual pieces together into the form you hear here.
You’re Not The Only One PRODUCER
I led the production of this record; A piece of sweet, pure pop, written by a few different people on different corners of the Earth, coming together with hundreds more who layered parts on top of the basic band tracks from the shoot. Song begins at 17:15 into the episode.
LG Mobile - Everyday, Spectacular :30 SCORE, PRODUCER
hitRECord’s second outing with LG Mobile. In this spot, we consider what happens when we purposefully make something huge out of a humble spark. One of the ‘sparks’ in this case is the melody I wrote, which kicks things off…

With years of experience on both sides of the studio glass, my career has spanned composing and sound design to editing and mastering. I confidently work at world class scales, and for the most demanding of clients…Many of whom are based in their bedrooms these days.
As Music and Audio Director for HITRECORD, I led the production of countless songs and scores in all genres, in addition to supervising audio projects of all kinds with novel…and in many cases, unprecedented…needs, for episodes of streaming TV and live events, overseeing the work of thousands of online contributors; Sometimes as tastemaker and selector, sometimes as cheerleader, still others as a player. There is scarcely a sound-related challenge, aesthetic or technical, which I haven’t successfully navigated.
I’ve always been a proud audio generalist, and as the world of music and sound have largely evolved to favor versatility, I’m glad I never limited myself to a narrow role. Embracing a broad set of skills has let me combine them with the insights I’ve gained over time, and I’m grateful for the continued opportunities to ply my craft.
